Who we are

This website, the shop and the Learning Hub are run by Bhagirath Basnet, a photojournalist and photography educator based in Jaipur, India ("we", "me"). Contact: hello@bhagirathbasnet.com.

Your account

You need an account to buy and to read or learn online. Keep your password private. One account is for one person. If we see an account being shared or used to copy our material, we may switch it off.

Digital products and courses

The online reader (ebook) and courses are digital products. You get access in your account after your payment is confirmed. Access is personal and not transferable. You may read and learn for yourself only. You may not copy, record, screenshot for sharing, resell, publish or share the material or your login. Each page of the reader carries your name or email as a watermark so that misuse can be traced.

Payments and access

Prices are shown in rupees (₹) or US dollars ($) depending on your location. At present payments are confirmed by us by hand after you tell us your payment reference, and access is switched on when we confirm. The annual membership lasts one year from the day we switch it on and includes the services described on its page, including every language edition of the book we publish during your membership.

No refunds

Because digital products and courses can be used immediately, they are not refundable. Once you buy, you keep the service for the period or product you paid for. We may switch access off at any time if these terms are broken. If we switch off a service that you paid for without a fault on your side, contact us and we will put it right.

Paperback

The printed book is sold and shipped by Amazon under Amazon's own terms and refund rules. We do not take payment for it on this site.

Articles are for information. We try to be accurate and credit our sources, but product details, prices and availability change. Announcements are labelled and are not tests. Some articles are drafted with the help of AI tools and are reviewed before they are published.
